The intersection of KY 1428 and KY 114 in Prestonsburg will be closed off and on starting at 7pm this evening for at least couple of hours, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12. Prestonsburg City Utilities officials need to close the intersection for mapping purposes, to locate and map the utility lines that are underneath the roadway. Prestonsburg City Police will provide traffic control.
