Tickets for the 11th annual Big Sandy Idol Regional Competition go on sale Monday, February 6. The competition will be March 10 and 11 at the Mountain Arts Center. The two-night event features the best and brightest vocalist from high schools in Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin and Pike counties, as well as representatives from home and private schools. Those who finished runner-up will be competing Friday, March 10, with a winner selected to perform with school winners on Saturday, March 11 for the title of Big Sandy Idol. Tickets are $12 and $8 for groups of 10 or more.
