Knox County Sheriff Deputy Andrew Lawson responded multiple times to a home in Corbin on Monday, January 30, 2017, regarding an Emergency Protective Order violation. Lee Garland, 34, reportedly went by the residence several times, revving the engine of his vehicle and doing burnouts. On the last 911 call, the caller advised that the vehicle struck a utility pole and left the scene. Deputy Lawson responded and arrested Garland for EPO violation, DUI, driving on suspended license, and leaving the scene of an accident. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
