Four soldiers were injured in a helicopter accident at Fort Campbell on Tuesday. The accident occurred shortly after 11am when a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter went down during training. The four soldiers aboard suffered injuries and were transported by air and ground to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. The names and conditions of the injured were not released at this time. Fort Campbell commanding general, Major General Andrew Poppas, said the care and well-being of the soldiers is their utmost concern. More information will be released as it becomes available as the investigation is ongoing.
