Major intersection construction will begin Monday, February 13, at Ky 40 and Ky 1428 in Johnson County. Work is expected to continue through the first of April and motorists should expect delays until the project is finished. Highway District 12 Engineering Tech Mike Blevins said that new traffic signals, sidewalk, and handicap ramp will improve safety at the intersection. Blevins apologized for the temporary inconvenience, but said the upgrades will make the intersection safer for everyone.
