Lt. Governor Hampton Announces $5.7 Million in Community Development Block Grants

On February 10, 2017, Lt. Governor Jenean Hampton joined Department for Local Government Commissioner Sandy Dunahoo in a Capitol rotunda ceremony to announce over $5.7 million in Community Development Block Grants for 13 new projects in Kentucky. Each project is designed to aid critical infrastructure needs across the Commonwealth, such as water safety, public facilities, and local health resources. Areas to receive funding include the Cumberland Hope Community in Harlan County; Hickory Hill Recovery Center for Men in Knott County; Madison County God’s Outreach Food Bank Expansion Project; and the Morehead Inspiration Center in Rowan County.
