Two Arrested in Laurel County After Refusing to Leave Residence

Two were arrested in Laurel County Monday morning after deputies received a complaint of individuals refusing to leave a residence. Deputies Josh Scott and Tommy Houston responded to the home on Maple Grove School Road, where it was determined one of the subjects had an outstanding warrant, and the other was in possession of a needle. Candida Cody, 36, was charged for a bench warrant, and Jeffrey Campbell, 44, was charged on possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
