The morning of Monday, February 13, Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputy Terry Tussey responded to a stabbing incident at a residence in the Oil Springs community. When Tussey arrived, he found a 39-year-old man who said he was attacked by his 14-year-old daughter after a verbal argument turned physical. The father was stabbed twice in the shoulder and twice in the lower abdomen. Deputy Tussey said the man was currently recovering from his injuries at Pikeville Medical Center, while the daughter was charged with assault and released into the custody of her mother.
