Two Arrested at Messers Market in Knox County

On February 21, around 1:30am, Knox County Deputies Mikey Ashurst and Andrew Lawson received a report of two females fighting inside Messer’s Market on US 25E in Barbourville. The two females were identified as 74 year old Maxine Patterson and 31 year old Becky Grubb. Patterson became disorderly  when confronted and was found in possession of a handgun inside her clothing. She was charged with disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. Grubb was also arrested and charged with public intoxication. Both were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
