A church bus crash happened at approximately 8:31pm in Laurel County on Wednesday, February 22. Sheriff’s deputies investigating the scene reported the bus was traveling on Sally’s Branch Road when it lost control entering a right-hand curve, traveled off the roadway, and hit an embankment. The driver, pastor Charles Kirby, was not injured. One female juvenile was flown to UK Medical Center with serious injuries and 11 other juveniles were transported by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital of London.
