Road work on KY 3395 at mile point 1.2 in Lawrence County will resume today. The road will be shut down at the work site from 8:30am until 4pm while the work is being done. No traffic will be allowed through because once the material and equipment are on site, there is no room for traffic to get through. Highway District 12 Superintendent Todd Moran said the work to repair breaks in the roadway with gabion baskets is not going as quickly as anticipated. He said the work could be finished by the end of the week if weather permits, but may need to work next week to complete the job.
