The Energy and Environment Cabinet is holding two contests to protect the environment and celebrate Earth Day. For middle school students, the “Capture the Earth” photo contest is looking for original photographs; for high school students, the “Capture the Earth” video contest seeks original videos. Photos can be emailed to kidsphotocontest@ky.gov. Files must be jpeg and not exceed 5MB, with subject line “STUDENT EARTH DAY PHOTO CONTEST.” Video entries should be uploading to Youtube, made public, and email the link to Lanny.Brannock@ky.gov with subject “STUDENT EARTH DAY VIDEO CONTEST.” Deadline for both contests is April 7, 2017 at 4:30pm.
