Floyd County Board of Education Chair Sherry Robinson has been appointed to the Commissioner’s Local School Board Members Advisory Council. The Council consists of a member from each of the seven state board/judicial districts and two at-large members. The council will discuss how decisions made at the state level are impacting local school districts. Superintendent Dr. Henry Webb said Robinson will represent Floyd County Schools well as she appreciates how state levels decisions have local impacts.
