On Sunday, March 5, Laurel County Deputies responded to a domestic complaint at a residence off Farris Road. The female victim left the residence to meet deputies at an entrance and informed them the subject, 34-year-old Ronnie Skeens, stated he would shoot anyone that came there. After announcing themselves several times, deputies entered the home and arrested Skeens following a short struggle. He was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and a bench warrant from Perry County. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
