Ribbon Cutting and Open House for American Metal Works March 17

Big Sandy Community and Technical College and the Paintsville/Johnson County Chamber of Commerce will host an open house and ribbon cutting for American Metal Works from 11am to 1pm, Friday, March 17 on the Mayo Campus of BSCTC. American Metal Works is located in Building E on the Mayo campus in a 4,350-square-foot business incubation space. Pikeville natives James Glass and Dennis Rohrer established American Metal Works in 2016 after having suffered the same economic downturn in the oil and gas industry that the coal industry suffered.  For more information and to RSVP to the open house and ribbon cutting, contact Velissa Murphy at 606-886-7332.
