Spring Breakers Should Take Precautions if Traveling to Areas with Zika

With Spring Break coming up, the Kentucky Department for Public Health is advising travelers to be cautious and take steps to prevent mosquito bites and unprotected sexual contact if traveling to areas where the Zika Virus has been identified. Some precautions include wearing long sleeve shirts and long pants; use EPA registered insect repellants; and don’t use insect repellants on babies under two months of age.
