Floyd County Students Heading to SkillsUSA State Competition

Floyd County Area Technology Center students who excelled at regional SkillsUSA competition are advancing to state competition. Competitions call for students to demonstrate occupational skills they have learned, beginning at the school level to be eligible for regional level. Floyd County students competed against students in Pike, Johnson, Magoffin, and Martin counties at Big Sandy Community and Technical College in categories of First Aid/CPR, HVAC, Web Design, and Welding. The state competition will be April 19-22 in Louisville.
