The Johnson County Public Library, with Kentucky Chautauqua, will present Jemima Boone: Life on the Frontier at 6pm Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Johnson County Public Library. Betsy Smith of Cynthiana portrays Jemima Boone, daughter of Daniel Boone, telling the story of Kentucky’s pioneer days and Boone’s capture by a group of Indians at 14-years-old.
