A fatal accident occurred in Bell County on Monday, March 13 on Highway 119. Bell County Deputy Sgt. Jared Smith responded to the scene to investigate. Sgt. Smith determined a black two-door Chevrolet truck, driven by 17-year-old David Blake Jackson, was traveling south when the passenger side of the truck dropped off the edge of the roadway. The vehicle returned to the roadway and spun sideways, leaving the roadway again, traveling over a culvert and striking a wooden fence. It was determined Mr. Jackson died of injuries received during the accident. No drugs or alcohol were a factor.
