On Friday, March 10, Bell County Sheriff Deputy Nick Capps responded to a noise complaint at a residence in the Dunlap Hollow community of Middlesboro. On the scene, Deputy Capps made contact with 22-year-old Jamie Ayers driving a 2000 Ford Explorer, who had been playing loud music from the vehicle. When asked for a driver’s license, Ayers said he didn’t have one and also stated there were syringes and methamphetamine in the back. Ayers was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
