Kentucky State Police, Pikeville Pose, is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Pike County during the evening hours of Monday, March 20, 2017. The preliminary investigation indicates that Kenneth Robinson was traveling on KY Route 611 in the Virgie community of Pike County. Robinson lost control of his 2004 Chevrolet Blazer and struck a utility pole. Robinson suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Coroner Russell Roberts. Evidence at the scene indicates Robinson was not wearing a seatbelt and alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
