Kentucky Unemployment Rate Down in February 2017

Kentucky’s unemployment rate decreased in February, down 0.3 percent from last year. The February 2017 unemployment rate was down to 4.9 percent, a decrease of .1 percent from January. The state’s civilian labor force increased by nearly 19,000 individuals, with the construction sector seeing the largest gain by 2,800 positions.
