Knox County Sheriff’s Department Seizes $38,000 in Controlled Substances After Executing Search Warrant

On Tuesday, March 21 around 3:44am, the Knox County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Matt Smith on Evergreen Road in Flat Lick. During the execution of the search warrant, methamphetamine, heroin, two firearms and over $700 in cash were discovered. Henry Matt Smith, 49, Chasity Roop, 30, and Jimmy Davis, JR, 49, were arrested and charged with trafficking in controlled substance. The street value of the seized drugs was estimated at $38,000.
