The 2nd Annual Alzheimer’s & Dementia Awareness 5K/Walk will be Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 9am at the Prestonsburg Municipal parking lot. The race will begin at the downtown city stage and registration is $20. Race day registration will begin at 7:30am and shirts are guaranteed to the first 50 registrants. The race is 5K and the walk will be one mile, non-competitive. All proceeds from the race will go to the Alzheimer’s Association and the University of Kentucky’s Alzheimer’s Disease Center in Lexington to fund research and treatment efforts.
