The Library Seminar Series  and Diversity Committee at Big Sandy Community and Technical College held its annual Women’s History Conference on Friday, March 24 on the Prestonsburg campus. The day-long event featured seven presentations, varying from morbid, injurious and toxic fashion throughout history, to social media and the pursuit of happiness and the communication challenges professional women face. Judy Howell, librarian and professor at BSCTC, said it was a good day of programming for women and were appreciate to the presenters and those who attended.
