Laurel County Man Arrested After Passing Out in Church Parking Lot

On Friday, March 24, Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies made an arrest on River Hill Church Road after receiving a complaint of a man passed out in a red Toyota Camry in a church parking lot. Numerous complaints were received earlier of a red Camry weaving on the roadway. After waking the individual, Jamal Daoud, 22, he was determined to be under the influence, and in possession of klonopin. Daoud was arrested and charged with DUI, failure to wear seatbelt, careless driving, and prescription drug not in proper container. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
