City of Hazard Police Officer Elvin Hendrix received a special title on Monday, March 27. Officer Hendrix was recorded being chased by a pregnant cow, with the video being posted to the Hazard Police Department Facebook page. The incident caught the attention of Kentucky Department of Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles, who commissioned Officer Hendrix an Honorary Agriculture Commissioner.  Commissioner Quarles wrote that he knew how hard rounding up cattle can be and honored the officer for fixing a dangerous situation.
