On Friday, Bell County Deputy Nick Capps received an anonymous tip of a silver and green PT Cruiser traveling South on US 119 from Harlan County occupied by two males with drugs and handguns. Deputy Capps, along with Deputy Patrick Brooks, observed the vehicle and conducted a high risk traffic stop. The passenger, Erin Wilson, attempted to conceal methamphetamine in the crotch of his pants, and cellophane wrapped pills in a sock. A gun was found concealed under his seat as well, with another behind it. Wilson was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
