Study Finds Kentucky One of Nation’s Most Stressed States

A study by WalletHub has found Kentucky to be in the Top 5 most stressed states in the country, just below West Virginia, ranked at #4, and Alabama coming in at #1. Analysts for WalletHub determined the rankings based on categories of stress such as work, money, family, and health and safety related stress. Kentucky ranked number 1 in lowest job security in the country, number 2 in fewest hours of sleep, and number 5 in highest percentage of population living below the poverty line. Experts questioned about how to reduce stress encouraged individuals to exercise more and plan ahead.
