Shepherdsville Man Pleads Guilty to Seeking Sex with a Minor

Attorney General Andy Beshear announced Tuesday, April 4 that a Shepherdsville man has pleaded guilty to seeking sex with a minor and will receive five years in prison. Martin Eugene Klemens, 58, pleaded guilty in Franklin Circuit Court last week to unlawful use of electronic means originating or received within the Commonwealth of Kentucky to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities, a Class D Felony. Klemens was arrested in 2015 and is scheduled for official sentencing June 2. Klemens will participate in a certified sex offender pre-sentencing program, will be ineligible for parole, and must register as a sex offender upon completion of his sentence.
