Two Arrested in Bell County for Shoplifting at Dollar General

On Saturday April 1, 2017, around 8:30pm, Bell County Dispatch received a call in regard to shoplifting at the Dollar General on Highway 119 in the Page Community. A clerk from the store reported two individuals, male and female, involved in the crime. Deputy James Taulbee first made contact with the male, 44-year-old Ricky Lee, who was wearing a black jacket with the hood over his head; 33-year-old Candace Rice was located shortly after. Both were found in possession of items from the store hidden in their clothing and Rice’s purse, along with suboxone and syringes. They were arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
