Manchester Burglary Investigation Leads to Drug Arrest

On April 4, Manchester Police Assistant Chief Patrick Robinson was working on a burglary case when he observed a Mercedes car drive by with the suspect of burglary sitting in the passenger side seat. Robinson stopped the vehicle on the Highway 80 area near Manchester when he noticed the driver shoving items into his mouth and the passenger hiding items. Officer Kelly Johnson arrived to assist and searched the vehicle with consent. A large quantity of pill, marijuana, and scales and were discovered. The driver, Terry Godsey, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance. The Passenger, Charles Duff, was arrested for the burglary at Pats Snack Bar.
