On Thursday, April 6, Bell County Sheriff’s Deputy Nick Capps received an anonymous top of a blue Ford pickup parked at the dump in the Beans Fork community. The vehicle had reportedly been parked for over 2 hours in what is considered a known drug use area. Deputy Capps made contact with Darren Miller, 48, of Middlesboro, who said his battery had died. He appeared nervous and gave consent to a search of his vehicle and person. Miller was found to be in possession of suspect crystal meth. He was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
