Experts Weigh in on High Speed Internet Importance in Rural Kentucky

Two experts on rural Kentucky are weighing in on how the internet is positively impacting rural communities and why government leaders need to continue to support innovation and entrepreneurship in rural Kentucky. The internet is enabling tremendous growth for every segment of Kentucky from homegrown industries to small businesses to farms. Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles grew up on a family farm and recently addressed the national press club about the importance of high speed internet access in rural America. Quarles says he hopes policymakers in Washington keep in mind the importance of creating access and infrastructure to not leave rural America out in the cold as new technologies develop.
