On Wednesday, April 12, a house fire occurred around 7:30am in Lawrence County on 8462 Yellow Creek Road in Louisa. Detectives with Kentucky State Police Post 14 Ashland responded to the scene to investigate and determined one resident, 48-year-old Riley Franklin of Lawrence County, died in the fire. An investigation is ongoing but no foul play is suspected.
