The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department has their COAST program underway with nine senior citizens throughout the county participating. Sheriff John Hunt implemented this program to ensure area seniors’ safety by having employees and deputies check in on seniors who may not otherwise have someone checking in with them on a regular basis.
