Dr. Kathryn Miller, professor and coordinator of the Computer and Information Technologies program at Big Sandy Community and Technical College, was a recipient of the Horizon award at the Phi Theta Kappa state convention on Saturday, March 25 at Madisonville Community and Technical College. The Horizon award is given annually to an outstanding Phi Theta Kappa advisor, which Dr. Miller serves as for BSCTC’s Alpha Nu Zeta chapter. BSCTC also received the Phi Theta Kappa Chapter of the Year award.
