Knox County Sheriff’s Office Investigates School Shooting Threat

On Monday April 17, at 11:30pm, Knox County 911 Dispatch received a call reporting a possible shooting threat at a Knox County School. The caller identified himself as being with the Los Angeles Police Department. The caller advised that LAPD received a call of a threat from a residence in Flat Lick. Deputies responded to the Flat Lick area but could not locate the exact address. Neither callers’ identity could be verified and the numbers computer generated. Any threats against a school or students are taken seriously and will be investigated.
