On Monday, May 1, around 11:30pm, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was notified of a shooting that had taken place at a residence on Suncrest Drive in the Bend of Lakes community in Pulaski County. Upon arrival, Trooper Desmond Brittle learned through investigation that Joshua Abbott, 31, of Somerset had been shot while standing in the yard outside the residence by an unknown person who fled the scene driving a black or silver minivan. Abbott was flown from the scene to UK Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. No arrests have been made at this time.
