Mayor George Dean of Pound, Virginia, has issued a statement regarding his recent quote about Kentucky drivers will be paying for the town’s new police cruiser. In the statement, which was released on the town of Pound’s website, Mayor Dean apologized to the State of Kentucky for singling them out as a targeted contributor. He also apologized to the residents of Pound for putting the town in a negative light, as well as the Pound Police Department for hinting they were targeting Kentucky drivers.
