The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that US 25 in Laurel County, milepoints 0 to 1, will have intermittent lane closures beginnings Wednesday, May 10 at 7am, and is expected to conclude on Wednesday, May 31 at 5pm. The roadway may be reduced to one lane as needed with trucks leaving and entering the highway throughout the length of the project. Additionally, the connector road to Hanes Baker located at milepoint 0.173 will be closed the duration of the project. The intermittent lanes closures are necessary to allow District 11 crews to perform maintenance operations.
