On May 4, 2017, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Gary H. Kendall, 63, of Greenup County, on charges related to distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Kendall was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online. The investigations resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Raceland on May 4. Kendall is currently charged with one count of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. He was lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center.
