Knox County Man Arrested for Public Intoxication, Endangering Welfare of Minor

On May 9, 2017, around 3:30am, Knox County Deputy Mikey Ashurst received three consecutive calls of a male and female yelling at each other while standing in the roadway in front of a residence on Evergreen Road in Flat Lick. After contacting the parties involved and conducting an investigation, Deputy Ashurst determined that the male had been using methamphetamine. Roger Combs, 33, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Due to two small children being present, he was also charged with endangering welfare of a minor and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
