An apparent home invasion is being investigated in Laurel County. Allegedly, on Friday, May 19, two female suspects knocked on the door of the female victim’s residence on Old Union Church road and forced their way inside. The victim thinks she was able to stab one of the suspects with a sword. One suspect is described as 5 feet tall, small build, with light brown hair, and the other is 5’8” tall, weighing 200 pounds, with red, blue and blonde hair. The suspects fled the scene and nothing was taken from the residence. The victim was transported to St. Joseph Hospital with moderate injuries.
