Remains of Clay County Man Identified

Update: An arrest has been made in the murder of a Clay County man. The remains of Robert L. Burns, 61, of Manchester, were discovered by Kentucky State Police Troopers on Thursday, May 4, 2017 and foul play was suspected. An arrest warrant of murder was issued for Kenneth B. Grubb, 41, also of Manchester, in regards to Burns’ death. Grubb was arrested in Butler County, Ohio the evening of Friday, May 19.

Original story: The remains of a body discovered in a wooded area off Sol Hollow Road in Clay County have been identified. The remains have been identified as Robert L. Burns, 61, of Manchester. Upon further investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for murder for Kenneth B. Grubb, 41, also of Manchester. Mr. Burns’ body was located by Kentucky State Police Troopers on Thursday, May 4, 2017 and foul play was suspected.
