A slide at Freel Tackett Drive had Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12 crews out until midnight May 24, attempting to clear the site. The same area of KY 979 near Branham’s Creek had a slide in April. Both lanes are open to traffic, but drivers are asked to slow down and watch workers and equipment. Material is still moving and more rain is expected throughout the day.
