A Laurel County woman was arrested following a traffic crash. Mary Partin, 39, of London, was arrested around 1:15am Thursday, May 25 after deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle traffic crash. When deputies arrived at the scene, they observed a white Pontiac Montana partially off the roadway in the ditch on the southbound side and detected an odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the driver. Partin was determined to be under the influence. She said a fox ran out in front of her, causing her to swerve off the roadway. She was charged with DUI and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
