On Saturday, June 3, the Floyd County Library will join with other meeting places around the country to celebrate DC Comics Wonder Woman Day. In honor of the character’s 75th anniversary, the library will be hosting a day of encouragement, enrichment and inspiration for girls and women. There will be displays of Wonder Woman throughout her comic book history, and attendees can register for door prizes or costume prizes during the celebration. There will be activities for younger participants, and Wonder Woman herself will attend. The programming begins at 9am at the Floyd County Library.
