The Kentucky State Police will be holding their vehicle and surplus item auction on Friday, June 9 from 9am to 4pm at the KSP Supply Branch 94 Airport Road in Frankfort. Bidders can view the cars the day of or come to the Supply Branch on June 8 during the regular business hours of 8am to 4:30pm. Bidders will need an ID and driver’s license to register. There is no registration fee, but there will be a 7 percent buyer’s premium charged on all items sold. An additional fee of 2.75 percent will be charged for those paying with a credit card. Personal checks will be accepted from in-state banks up to $5000. Out of state and in-state checks over $5000 will require a letter of credit from the bidder’s financial institution. Registration will begin at 8am on June 9.
