In Franklin Circuit Court on June 2, Douglas Judy, 33, of Frankfort, plead guilty to unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities; two counts of failure to comply with the sex offender registration; and three counts of persistent felony offender, a felony enhancement. As part of the plea offer, Judy agreed to serve seven years in prison for the offenses, as well as serve an additional five years related to a prior conviction. A formal sentencing is scheduled in Franklin Circuit Court on August 25.
